OK, so I thought I would inspire you by showing you what I got for less than $3 yesterday! (By the way, there's a box of Cheez-its I got also, but I forgot to put it in the picture!!) The funnest part, is this is stuff we really use!! I won't always post my shopping trips item by item, but, to show you how I did it, here it goes:
I bought:
2 boxes Kellogg's cereal @2.50/each
4 boxes Rice Krispie treats @$2.00/each
1 box of Cheez-its @ $2.00
1 pkg GUM toothbrushes @ $3.49
2 Hellman's mayo @ $2.99/each
2 Ragu sauces @ $2.00/each
5 Skippy peanut butters @ $2.00/each
subtotal: 38.47 (before tax)
used:
-$5/25 Walgreens coupon
-$2/1 coupon Skippy natural PB (CRT I got from Wags a couple of weeks ago)
-$.75/1 GUM toothbrushes from 6/21 RP
-2 $1/2 Rice Krispie treats from 8/2 SS
-1 $1/2 Kellogg's cereal coupon from 8/2 SS
-1 $.60/2 Ragu sauce from 8/2 SS
-2 $.60/1 Hellman's mayo from 8/2 SS
-4 $.60/1 Skippy PB from 8/2 SS
total: $23.52 ( minus $.11 for tax???--not sure how that works)
TOTAL SPENT: $23.41
GOT BACK:
$10 RR for buying peanut butter, ragu, & mayo
$5 RR for buying RKT and Cheeze-its
$2 RR for cereal
$3.50 for toothbrushes
total RR: 20.50
COST OF ALL THESE ITEMS: $2.99!!!!
